from Sep 11 to 14 I visited Madrid Barajas airport. Madrid is the gateway to Europe for a number of South American carriers.
There are a number of nice photopoints around the airport but for most you do need a car and preferrably a GPS since navigating
the Spanish roads can be a challenge.
The first 2 days we had blue skies, the last 2 days were grey with a lot of rain, The last day we therefore made a visit to the
excelent airforce museum in Madrid Cuatro Vientos.
All photos were taken from outside the fences.
This HiFly A340 is flying for Estelar from Venezuela.
This Spanish AF A310 flew from Torrejon to Barajas to be washed and polished.
